Narendra Borkar – President
Narendra Borkar is the founding President of AdvaGen Pharma. He is a seasoned pharmaceutical executive across branded and generic pharmaceutical industries. His extensive experience of over 45 years includes leadership roles such as Chief Executive Officer of Aurobindo Pharma USA (2004-2006), Chief Executive Officer of Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories (1997- 2003), various senior roles for Novartis (formerly Ciba-Geigy) (1981-1997), General Manager of Apte Amalgamation (1979-1981), Works Engineer for Hoffman La Roche (1976-1979), and Project Manager for Union Carbide Corp and Merck and Company, Inc (1966-1976).
Eric Schumacher – Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy
With over 27 years in the life sciences, Eric Schumacher has industry leading generic and specialty pharmaceuticals experience at companies such as Teva Pharmaceuticals, Allergan Inc, Actavis PLC, Watson Pharmaceuticals, and Rising Pharmaceuticals. His focus includes proprietary and partnered development solutions that improve the patient experience through a wide range of pharmaceutical dosage forms.
Eric has an MBA from the Anderson School of Business at the University of California, Los Angeles, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. In addition to his professional pursuits, Eric is a world traveler, former CrossFit athlete and serves in the ministry at his local church.
Warren Pefley – Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing
As the Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Warren Pefley is responsible for the Sales Team, Customer Service, Marketing and Product Management, Contracts and Pricing, Demand Planning and Customer Forecast. Previously, Warren was Chief Commercial Officer at Virtus Pharmaceuticals, and held positions with Bristol-Myers Squibb, Sandoz and Qualitest (now Par Pharmaceuticals).
Warren has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry having held positions in Sales, Sales Management, Product Strategy and Customer Marketing, gaining expertise with oral dose and hospital injectable products across the continuum of customers in the US.
Warren holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University.
